Suizhou Yandi Hometown Scenic Area

Suizhou Yandi Hometown Scenic Area is the birthplace of Yandi, the first ancestor of the Chinese nation. The total footprint of the core scenic area is 2 square kilometers, covering over 60 human and natural landscapes. It was named as the national 4A scenic area in 2009 and was awarded subsequently the title of “one of the 10 Tourism Name Cards of the Delicate Hubei Province”, “Hubei Patriotism Education Base”, “Cross-Straits Exchange Base”, “Overseas Chinese International Cultural Exchange Base”, etc.
Suizhou Museum

Suizhou Museum, located at the west bank of Shui Jueshui River, adjoining the site of remains of the Tomb of Marquis Yi of the Zeng State on the west, is a local comprehensive museum integrating cultural relics collection, scientific research, publicity, education, archaeology and chime performance. The museum now has 4238 pieces (sets) of cultural relics, characterized by bronzes of the Zeng State (Sui) and the E (è) State of the Shang and Zhou dynasties, honored as “the bronze kingdom” by experts. The Chime of Marquis Yi of the Zeng State, the Rectangular Wine Vessel of Marquis E (è), the 36 bells of the Warring States period, and others are the most precious treasure of the museum. Suizhou Museum is a “second level museum” in China.
Tomb of Marquis Yi of the Zeng State

The Tomb of Marquis Yi of the Zeng State was discovered in 1978. Marquis Yi of the Zeng State was the king of the Zeng State in early Warning States period. The Tomb of Marquis Yi of the Zeng State, located in the northeast of Leigudun Ancient Tombs, near the mountain and by the river, occupies a commanding position and is the largest tomb among the unearthed in Leigudun Ancient Tombs. The Tomb of Marquis Yi of the Zeng State is at the hill with red sandstone. The tomb pit is a polygon with 21m long from east to west and 16.5m wide from south to north, so the total area is 220 square meters.
