Suizhou Museum
Suizhou Museum, located at the west bank of Shui Jueshui River, adjoining the site of remains of the Tomb of Marquis Yi of the Zeng State on the west, is a local comprehensive museum integrating cultural relics collection, scientific research, publicity, education, archaeology and chime performance. The museum now has 4238 pieces (sets) of cultural relics, characterized by bronzes of the Zeng State (Sui) and the E (è) State of the Shang and Zhou dynasties, honored as “the bronze kingdom” by experts. The Chime of Marquis Yi of the Zeng State, the Rectangular Wine Vessel of Marquis E (è), the 36 bells of the Warring States period, and others are the most precious treasure of the museum. Suizhou Museum is a “second level museum” in China.
